Choosing a workplace is not easy. You would know that better than anyone because you are here reading this article. There are so many things you have to take into account when choosing the correct workplace and if you select the wrong place, you would have unwittingly pushed a domino that would in return cause so many others dominoes to fall, simply put, you will be in a lot of trouble. One of the biggest problems you would face is finding a place convenient for your clients. This is not as easy as you would think.
If you were planning on choosing an office space which is 17km away from the nearest populated areas then scrap the idea. No, take that idea and send it through a shredder and then burn the remaining pieces. That is because it a terrible thing to do. Your clients will be so far away from you and they are not going to travel that distance, killing their petrol to come to your office. Therefore you will lose your customers and due to the lack of sales you have to close your office in a matter of a month. So choosing a place far away from the population is a terrible idea. So choosing one stock right in the middle of the biggest residential area would sound like the perfect thing to do, right? Wrong. First of all you would cause a lot of inconvenience to the people living there. The people living in a residential area are staying there due to the lack of commercial business there so many of the problems in a commercial area would not be there however by making your workplace in that spot, you would bring all the problems that they tried to avoid like traffic, noise pollution and more. Furthermore it is probably illegal to even do that. So what should you do?
You should choose a place that your clients should be able to travel to easily but not within their residential block. If your clients are living around a certain area then choose a workplace in a commercial area closest to the residential area. This of course works best if your clients are all in a small concentrated area. If they live all around the city then choose a commercial area that is located in the middle of the city within easy travelling distance for all your clients. If this is also not possible then choose a commercial area located close to where a bigger proportionate of your clients live. The emphasis on commercial areas is that you do not encroach on residential areas and you would be near other offices which is also important. When you your workplace is close to other offices you would gain new clients. When people go to employ the services of an office close by and then they see your workplace, they would come out of at least curiosity to check your business out.
Therefore it important that you choose a location convenient for your clients as this would help you retain existing ones and gain new clients.
